I sat and carried on watching tv for a little while longer, then I got restless. I realized even though she had just been gone ten minutes, I missed her already. But she would be back soon to make something delicious i’m sure.
I was pretty hungry, my stomach started to rumble. I hadn’t had many people cook something for me before, I usually just had microwave meals or takeaways. I was a useless cook. But perhaps I could learn.
The minutes started to pass, I knew she was a grown woman, but I couldn’t help but worry. She had never been in Manchester before, it could be pretty rough at times. But surely not through the day. This area was usually pretty calm aswell, well I had lived here for years and hadn’t seen anything bad happen.
But, she was a beautiful girl… What if someone did try to get to her? Or try it on with her? With, my girl.
My mind started to run away with me as it often did, I started to think the worst, I grabbed my coat and quickly put on my boots and ran downstairs.
I flung the door open and to my shock Tina was there just away to come inside. I accidentally bashed into her almost knocking her flying. But I grabbed her before she had a chance to fall over.
‘Shit, sorry Tina. I was just away to come look for you, are you ok?’
Her eyes were red, it was easy to spot that she had been crying. I smoothed my thumb over her cheek but she just pulled away from me and walked inside.
‘Tina?’
‘I’m sorry Adam. I have to go home.’
‘What? Why? What happened?’
I was confused, I thought she was staying for another two nights. What had happened?
I rushed upstairs after her, she was already in the bedroom packing her suitcase.
‘Tina, please speak to me, Have I done something wrong?’
‘No, you haven’t… I just. I’m needed at home. I’m sorry.’
Her voice was quiet and so delicate.
I didn’t know what to do, I sat down on the edge of the bed watching her, I wanted to just grab her and not let her go.
She zipped up her suitcase and walked out of the bedroom towards the door, was she not even going to say goodbye to me?
I went after her quickly, I grabbed her arm pulling her back to me.
‘Tina. Please don’t go like this.’
She looked up into my eyes, her eyes were full of sadness and she looked scared.
Why should she be scared? Did I scare her? Before she left to go to the shop she was so happy and we were laughing. What went wrong?
‘At least let me walk you to the train.’ My voice was quiet now, and close to breaking.
I had to try and keep myself together.
We walked in silence to the train station, I wasn’t even sure whether to hold her hand or not. She was very jumpy, looking around herself almost every second.
The only words that were spoken as she got on the train was ‘I’m sorry’ and ‘I’ll call you.’
Then that was it, she got on the train and left. Just like that.
I slumped back to my house, I couldn’t hold back a tear that trickled down my cheek.
I thought we had something, I thought she liked me as much as I liked her.
Something must have happened when she went out to the shop, did she see someone else who made her change her mind about me?
Or was it me?
Is this the end of a love that has just begun?

I pulled the warm body I was holding closer to me, her grip seemed stronger than I remembered. Also had she changed into pajamas? I could have sworn she fell asleep in her dress, but I could feel some sort of clothing covering her legs.
My brain was a muddle so I didn’t dwell on it too much. I ran my hand down the side of her body, which felt different, maybe I did drink too much last night. I nuzzled my face closer to her as my hand got lower just past her stomach. But to my shock I felt something that a girl isn’t suppose to have down below. Unless it was her ‘tail’?
But when my lips touched her chin… I felt. stubble?
I opened my eyes and to my horror it was Theo I was holding, he was holding me aswell. He opened his eyes aswell when he sensed movement and his body was reacting to my touch, his eyes were as wide as mine no doubt were.
We both shot up and yelled in disgust.
‘What the fuck were you doing touching me there man?’ Theo yelled.
‘I’m sorry, I didn’t realize it was you, I thought it was Tina!’ I shouted back.
We then stopped shouting at each other as we heard giggling by the window. We looked over at Tina who was sat in stitches of laughter.
‘You done this?’ I said as I started to walk over to her slowly.
She just nodded, she could not stop laughing, tears were streaming down her face. Of course to her it had been hilarious.
‘You should have seen your faces when you woke up and noticed it was each other.’
‘Oh what am I going to do with you Tina? You are so in trouble later young missy.’
Theo just groaned and collapsed back on the bed. I looked at Tina with a slight smirk on my face. She just smiled back at me cheekily.
I wouldn’t let her get away with this that easily. I would think on something.
Tina then went to the bathroom to get showered, I wanted to join her more than anything in the world, but it would have been weird with Theo being in the next room.
‘You better make her pay for that Anderson.’
I chuckled and sat on the edge of the bed.
‘Don’t worry, I will.’
I then felt a hard smack on my back.
‘OW! What the fuck was that for? Jesus christ Theo.’ I leapt up quickly and reached for my poor back.
‘For trying to feel me up earlier. Surely you must have realized it was me not Tina? Or is my body really that similar to a girls?’ He snorted.
‘Oh ha ha. I was still half asleep… I thought it was her tail. Besides, you can’t blame me, you did react to it.’
‘Oh shut it you. Have you not heard of morning wood?’
We both looked at each other and realized how silly and awkward this situation was and burst out laughing.
Tina came out of the bathroom half an hour later, she took ages in the shower and to get ready. She looked good enough to eat, her hair was still wet and she wore a grey jumper which was clearly too big for her, but it suited her.
‘Have you two love birds managed to let go of each other now then?’
She smirked and sat down on the edge of the bed and began to tie her hair back. We laughed and I pounced on her, she squealed with shock as I tumbled over her. She then fought back and as it was unexpected she managed to roll us over again, we almost knocked poor Theo flying of the bed.
‘Do you mind you two? Get a room.’
‘We are in my room.’ I winked at him and he just shook his head and threw a pillow at us both.
‘I’m going to shower and then leave you two to it.’
Theo waddled through to the bathroom, leaving me and Tina still on the bed. She was half on top of me, I grabbed her and rolled us over again so she was underneath me. I pinned her arms up above her head so she was helpless.
I kissed all over her face, her lips, chin, cheeks, forehead, eye lids and nose which made her giggle.
She then wrapped her arms around me and pulled me down closer to her, our lips connected. I felt her hands run up under my shirt leaving goosebumps.
I started to slide her jumper up, revealing her lovely tummy. I tickled up her sides lightly making her back arch of the bed.
Our breathing was deep and shaky. She trembled under me with anticipation.
I then started to pull her jeans down but we heard the door of the bathroom opening. She pushed me of her and sat up quickly sorting herself out.
I sat up slightly disorientated, Theo usually took ages in the shower.
He didn’t notice us all flustered as he walked to the mirror and started combing his hair back.
‘Don’t worry I will be out of your hair in ten.’ He said with a grin as he glanced at me in the mirror.
He knew me too well.
Right enough, ten minutes later after he had drowned his hair with pomade Theo left to head home. Leaving me and Tina alone.

‘I really need a shower. How about you join me?’ Adam walked over to me and wrapped his arms around me from behind and placed his chin on my shoulder.
‘I’ve just showered though.’
‘I know… But I wasn’t with you that time. This time I will be.’ He whispered in my ear, which sent shivers down my spine.
‘Or… If you don’t want to shower again, then how about we have a nice bath together?’
He placed his lips on my neck gently sucking the skin making my brain go haywire. How could I say no?
‘Ok, you’ve persuaded me.’ I moaned as his lips found just the right spot on my neck.
He knew exactly what buttons to push and when. Even though we hadn’t been together long it was like he knew my body better than me. Or maybe he was just the master of seduction. Whatever it was about him, he certainly had me wrapped around his finger.
He guided me into the bathroom and turned the taps in the bath on. He poured some bubble bath into the water aswell.
As the bath started to fill we shared a few kisses in-between undressing one another.
As I let the last of my clothes fall to the floor Adam looked at me up and down, checking out every inch of my body. His eyes full of hunger. I felt slightly anxious being naked on front of him, I know I was the other night when we were in bed. But for some reason this felt different.
He came close to me and wrapped his arms around me, he stroked down my back which sent tingles through me.
I hugged him close to me, his chest pushed against mine, I felt his bulge through his boxers pressing against my stomach.
He ran his hand down my arm and entwined our fingers together as he stepped back from me and led me to the side of the bath. He tested it first with his other hand to make sure it wasn’t too hot or cold.
He then guided me into the bath. I sat down and felt all my muscles relax as the water washed over my body.
Adam took his boxers of and climbed in aswell, the bath was quite big but he had to place his legs at either side of me to make room.
‘Maybe I need to invest in a bigger bath…’
‘The smaller the better, means we get to be closer.’
He grinned and turned me around and pulled me onto his lap in a crushing hug. He tilted my head around and placed his lips on mine, slowly deepening the kiss.
I then felt his tongue poke at my lips trying to gain access. I parted my lips giving him access, our tongues danced together as his hands ran over my breasts.
‘You’re trembling.’ He mumbled over my lips.
I didn’t answer, but I felt my cheeks blush and he grinned into our kiss.
His hand slipped down my stomach and lightly brushed over my core making me gasp. He then slipped two fingers inside of me, my mouth opened but no noise came out.
He slowly pushed his fingers in and out of me. I writhed in his lap and reached back to grab at his hair, moaning shamelessly.
He kept teasing around inside of me for about ten minutes, but it felt like ten years. I was dying for release or something more.
‘Adam. Please.’
‘What?’
‘I need, you in me. Please.’
He chuckled and curled his fingers inside of me hitting the exact spot.
‘Adaaaammm. Please, I beg you.’ I was out of breath and didn’t know how much more of this I could take.
‘I told you, you were in trouble, this is pay back.’ He whispered in my ear.
‘I’m sorry. please. I’ll do anything, just. ahhhh.’
I couldn’t finish my sentence as he started to rub deep inside of me, just on the right spot.
Then to my relief he pulled his fingers out and turned me around. I sat back down in his lap with my legs wrapped around his waist. He lowered me down onto him, his length breached my body.
He held my body close to his, his head rested on my shoulder as I slowly moved up and down on him. He thrust his hips up in time with me, his hands roamed all over my back and ass. I scratched my nails down his back which were bound to leave marks. But we didn’t care, not at that point in time anyway.
He let out a groan as he nibbled my neck to keep himself quiet. I couldn’t, on the other hand, so the bathroom was filled with moans and muffled whimpers. It wasn’t long before I felt him start to pulse inside of me, then the feeling as he spilled himself inside of me, tipped me over the edge too.
I collapsed in his arms and he stroked my hair soothingly.
‘If that’s what happens, maybe I should get into trouble more often.’ I mumbled against his chest quietly.
He laughed evilly. ‘I will need to keep you in line more then won’t I?’
I giggled and hid my face into his neck. Adam turned me around in his lap and reached for the body wash, squirting a generous amount onto the palm of his hand.
Then I felt his gentle hands on my back, slowly massaging the gel into my back. He smoothed his hands up over my shoulders and down my sides.
I felt like I was in heaven, his touch was magic. I felt tingles and goosebumps appear all over my body.
He fanned his long fingers out and slowly rubbed down my spine. I let out a moan as my head fell forward. His hands then wondered round to my stomach and up over my breasts.
His hands got dangerously low and he lightly brushed over my core making me gasp.
‘Adam.’ I said in a slight warning tone. He just chuckled and kissed my cheek.
After an hour or so of washing each other we got dried and was now curled up on the sofa watching TV.
‘What would you like to do today? Stay in or go out?’
‘Hmm. Stay in? I was wondering if I could cook you dinner?’
‘ooo, dinner? How can I refuse?’ He planted a kiss on my lips smiling.
‘I might need to go out and get some ingredients from the shop though. Unless you have the things I need…’
‘Well what do you need?’
‘If I tell you that it won’t be a surprise. I will go search.’
I scrambled up from the sofa through to the kitchen to raid through the cupboards. He didn’t have much of what I was needing so I wrote down a list and grabbed my coat.
‘Where’s the nearest shop?’
‘I’ll take you there, it’s not far.’
‘No no, it will ruin the surprise. Where is it?’
‘Oh you. It’s down the street, first left, then you can’t miss it. Tesco Express.’
‘See you soon then.’
I made my way to the shop, it wasn’t far and luckily it wasn’t raining. For a change.
I went in and got all my ingredients into a basket. I was just searching for some wine for Adam and myself, when I heard a familiar voice behind me. I froze on the spot.
‘Tina? Is that you?’

I woke up to the feel of fingers lightly tickling down my side and lips gently kissing my shoulder. I turned around smiling to face Adam. He smiled back at me and stroked my hair soothingly.
This was the first time I’ve ever woken up truly happy. I mean, what could be better? Waking up in the man of my dreams arms, not a care in the world anymore. Last night had been perfect, I had wanted him so badly.
‘Did you sleep well sweetie?’
‘I slept like a baby.’
‘You’re so adorable when you are asleep.’
I felt my cheeks flush slightly red. He laughed and kissed my lips and stroked his thumb over my cheek.
‘Last night was… Amazing.’
‘It was. I told you, you would enjoy it.’ He said winking at me.
I blushed again and lay my head on his chest, I could hear his heartbeat which made it all real.
‘About this party tonight, what are you dressing up as?’
‘Ah, you will have to wait and see my dear. It’s a surprise.’
‘Oh, I like surprises. I haven’t got a clue what to dress up as.’
‘There are plenty of stores around selling costumes, we will find you something. But let’s discuss that later, I’m not ready to let you get out of bed just yet.’
He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me down under the blankets again.

‘Hmm how about a devil? There’s horns here…’ Adam said as he picked up a pair of red devil horns.
‘Nah, you’re the devil out of the two of us. I’m all innocent.’
He grabbed me from behind and snorted.
‘You innocent? Never.’
‘Not since I met you. I was thinking I could dress as a black cat?’
‘Mhmm good idea. My little pussy cat.’
He had a playful twinkle in his eye that I recognized from last night, I hit him in the chest shaking my head.
I grabbed a pair of cat ears, an attachable tail, make up, a tight black dress and stockings. Adam then came over with a collar aswell.
I looked at him with raised eyebrows. He just smirked and placed it in the basket.
I was dying to know what he was dressing as tonight. I had no clue as he didn’t pick up anything when we were out shopping. So I presumed he already had his outfit at home.
We got back to his place, I went into the bathroom to get into my costume; leaving Adam sat watching tv. Did he even have a costume? Was he tricking me just to get me dressed up?
I got changed into my cat costume, then I walked out of the bathroom but stopped in my tracks as it was pitch black.
‘Adam?’ I called out, my voice a bit shaky.
I made my way through to the living room, but I still couldn’t see very well, I tried to reach for the light switch but it had been covered with tape. I was now very confused.
It was dark outside aswell, so there wasn’t even any light coming in from the windows.
I was getting pretty scared now, I was never very keen on the dark. I called out for Adam once more but there was still nothing.
I rushed through to the kitchen but that light switch was covered aswell. Was this Adams doing? Was he playing a trick on me to scare me? It was certainly working if he was.
Then out of nowhere I got grabbed from behind and a hand covered my mouth. Then I felt plastic sharp-like teeth nibble at my neck and growling went straight into my ear and sent shivers down my spine.
I spun round and could just make out Adam’s figure, I relaxed a lot more and all the fear left me. I heard an evil laugh escape from his lips as he then pulled me close for a kiss. He pulled the tape of the light switch and flicked on the light.
I could now see him properly. He wore a long black cloak with a high collar. He had leather gloves on and wore his boots. His face was even whiter than usual with make up, fake blood dripped down his chin and he had black eyeliner on aswell as fake fangs. His hair wasn’t neat like normal, it was all messy and sticking up everywhere.
He looked incredibly sexy, even though he should look scary more than anything.
‘Were you scared?’ Adam grinned.
‘Until I realized it was you, yes.’
We laughed and he hugged me, his hand slid down my back and he squeezed my ass and then picked up my ‘tail’ and swung it around.
‘oi!’ I squealed.
‘You’re a very cute kitty cat. I love your tail. But, you have forgot something.’
He walked through to the living room and put the light on again and reached into the bag and picked out the collar.
‘Oh no. I’m not a dog I’m a cat!’ I laughed.
‘I know, but cats can have collars too.’ He winked at me while he placed the collar around my neck and fastened it.
‘Hmm… I wonder if I have some sort of lead somewhere…’
‘No, no, no. I’m not being led around by a vampire all night.’ I pushed him back playfully and ran to the door and grabbed my coat.
He came after me and chased me downstairs and out onto the street. I ran a little along the road but he soon caught up with me and grabbed my arm pulling me to him. He nibbled on my neck a little making me giggle.
‘Never run away from Count Anderson!’
I ended up in fits of laughter.
We held hands and went on our way to the party. Once we arrived we were greeted by Theo, who was also dressed as a vampire.
‘Oh no, not two vampires.’
I placed my hand over my face for drama. Adam laughed and tugged my hand away.
‘We always dress as vampires every year at this party. You on the other hand look very hot…’
Theo said as he eyed me up and down. Adam sneered and kicked his shin. I just blushed and didn’t say anything.
‘Ow. What was that for?’
Adam glared at him and Theo smirked.
‘Sorry. But it’s true… You’re lucky Adam. And you know I like girls that look like cats…’
‘Maybe I should have put a lead on you Tina, to make sure Theo doesn’t run off with you.’
Theo and myself laughed, Adam just gave Theo the look of death. I turned the two vampires around and shoved them into the club. I was dying for a drink.
The club was full of people dressed as ghouls, ghosts and god knows what else. We went straight to the bar and got ourselves some drinks, Theo bought the first round.
They introduced me to a few of their mates that are there, they seemed really nice. They were dressed up aswell, I don’t think there was anyone here that wasn’t dressed up.
We spent most of the night dancing, drinking and laughing the night away.
There were a few Halloween games aswell, Theo, Adam and I went dunking for apples.
It was hilarious, when Adam was trying to grab an apple Theo dunked his head right under the water. Adam was soaked, his hair was dripping, but he got an apple!
When it was my turn I made sure Adam held Theo back so he didn’t do the same to me. I got one really quickly.
‘Oh, you show of. Or have you been practicing?’ Theo said as he grabbed a towel and got ready for his shot.
‘I’m a natural.’
When Theo had his head in the bowl of water I couldn’t resist temptation and I shoved his head under the water to give him a taste of his own medicine. He shot back up without an apple, the makeup he had on was dripping down his face. Everyone watching burst out laughing.
He looked at Adam first. Adams hands flew up in defense. ‘Don’t look at me, it wasn’t me mate.’
Theo looked confused, he then looked at me, I couldn’t stop laughing. He then pounced towards me but I dodged him and ran behind Adam.
‘I’ll get you back for that missy.’ He grinned as he wiped his face with a towel.
‘I was just sticking up for my man. Giving you a taste of your own medicine.’
Adam pulled me into a hug and kissed my head.
The rest of the night was great, I hadn’t had so much fun in years. I guess because I was in great company that made all the difference too.
The three of us started our journey back to Adams, Theo was going to crash there for the night, to save him finding someone who wasn’t drunk to drive him home all the way to London.
Once we got in the door I stumbled through to the bedroom and collapsed on the bed. I don’t think I had ever drank that much before. The room was spinning and my head was screeching with noises that I didn’t even think were real.

After Tina collapsed on the bed Theo did aswell. By the looks of the two, they weren’t going to move anytime soon so I decided the three of us would just have to crash out on the bed. The sofa was not comfortable anyway.
Theo rolled over closer to Tina, even though he was drunk I was not putting up with that. I felt very protective over Tina. She was mine, all mine.
I climbed onto the bed and shoved Theo over and lay down in-between them. He grumbled but I just ignored him and wrapped my arms around Tina pulling her body close to mine. I felt something weird at my legs, I glanced down and realized she still had her ‘tail’ on. I chuckled and moved it to the side out of my way.

I woke up with Adams arms around me, I was still in my cat costume from last night. My head was pounding and I felt awful.
I carefully removed his arms from me trying not to disturb him. I sat up and noticed there was someone else on the bed aswell, Theo. I laughed to myself and stood up.
They both looked so peaceful. I decided to have a bit of fun.
I turned Adam around so they were facing each other, I placed Adams leg over Theos and his arms around Adam. I then pushed their faces closer to each other so their noses were touching.
I grabbed my phone and took a picture before quietly creeping out of the room to get a glass of water. When I came back they were still fast asleep. I sat down on the seat by the window and watched the world go by. Waiting for the two sleeping beauties to awake.

I was on the train on my way to Manchester for the weekend with Adam. I still couldn’t believe he asked me over for the weekend, it had been just less than a week since I last seen him in Germany but I missed him so much.
I was glad I opened up to him about my past, I had felt a lot more comfortable around him.
As the train got closer and closer to Manchester I found myself getting more and more excited and slightly anxious. The thought I was spending the whole weekend with him at his place sent shivers through me.
How did all this happen? It felt like a crazy dream. But it wasn’t, it was real.
The train arrived at Piccadilly station, Adam said he would meet me here. Right enough, there he was. My stomach was leaping somersaults as I stepped of the train and walked towards him.
He was grinning from ear to ear, we hugged and kissed. I felt light headed, I had forgotten how amazing his lips felt against mine. To be in his arms again.
He took my suitcase for me and took my hand and we walked out of the station and headed to his place.
‘How much stuff do you have in this suitcase? It feels like you’re staying for a week! Not that I would mind.’
He said with a wink, I laughed and blushed. I had packed an awful lot, but I usually did when I was going away for more than one night.
‘I’m a girl, you couldn’t expect me to come with a small bag did you?’
He laughed and agreed. We hopped on a bus as it started to rain and would be a lot quicker getting to his.
Once we arrived he held the door open for me, as I stepped inside it just felt like it was his home. It smelled like him and there were a few suitcases lying un emptied in the hallway.
‘Well, welcome to my home. I still haven’t gotten around to unpacking yet. I sometimes don’t see the point If I’m heading of in a few days again anyway.’
‘True, it must be difficult living out of a suitcase most of the time though, different hotels most of the night too.’
‘It can be, but I’m used to it now. It is brilliant to be home though, to be in my own bed for a change. Also to not worry about the air conditioning or heating.’
He dumped my suitcase in the bedroom and told me to go to the living room and make myself at home.
I went through and looked around, it was a really nice flat he had. In the living room it was nice and cosy. There were a few photos in frames on a small cabinet he had. One was of Adam with his parents, the other Theo and himself backstage by the looks of it. They were both smiling and seemed really happy. It looked like it was taken a year or so ago. I wondered if it was from their first gig… I would have to ask him at some point. There were a few others of him with other people that I didn’t recognize, family and friends I presumed. He looked gorgeous in every single one of course.
I was slightly disappointed there weren’t any baby pictures. I would have to ask him about them aswell later, see if he did have any.
Then an arm wrapped around my waist and I felt his lips gently kiss my cheek. I smiled and turned to face him, he passed me a drink and motioned me to sit down on the sofa.
We sat down next to each other and talked about what we had been doing the past week.
‘So, what would you like to do today?’
‘Hmm. I don’t know really, I’d love to go on the wheel?’
‘Good idea, it is a nice clear day for it. Perfect view of the city. I’ll take you there.’
It wasn’t long before we were looking down on Manchester, Adam pointed out lots of places telling me a bit about each. He certainly did know a lot about his home city. He seemed really proud aswell, who could blame him? It was a great city.
After the wheel and a little bit of shopping we went back to his place. He ordered pizza in for us.
We sat in the middle of the living room and ate, it was a bit like a picnic but inside instead. Also a lot warmer obviously.
My eyes wandered the room, I noticed in the corner he had some board games. Twister was the one that caught my eye.
‘I love twister.’
He looked round at the pile of board games and smirked. ‘I haven’t played it in a while, I keep the games for whenever I look after my friends kid.’
‘Oh, I’m a bit disappointed I must say… I thought you kept them because you enjoyed playing them.’
‘I never said I didn’t’ He said with a wink.
‘Do you want to play after we’ve eaten?’
‘Of course, though you have no chance of winning.’
‘Oh strong fighting talk coming from such a small girl.’
I hit him playfully on the arm and he just laughed. I would get him back for that!
Half an hour later we had twister laid out on the floor and we were in the most awkward positions, I was half underneath him and his legs were tangled and crossed over. We couldn’t stop laughing which didn’t help.
‘How the hell is my leg suppose to stretch to there?’
‘You can do it, you’re pretty flexible aren’t you?’
He spoke quietly, his face was close to mine and he nuzzled his nose against my cheek making me giggle.
‘I don’t think I’m that flexible.’
I tried to stretch my leg to the red spot that was behind his arm but I couldn’t stretch that far and ended up falling onto the mat.
‘Ha ha, I win. The master of twister.’
‘Dam it. I’m usually really good at this game.’
‘Well you’ve never played against me before my dear.’
We packed away the game, got a drink and sat on the sofa together to watch a film, my legs were resting over his lap and I had my head leaning on his shoulder.
‘You do know it’s Halloween tomorrow?’
‘Yep, is there anything spooky happening tomorrow night in Manchester?’
‘Well there is a fancy dress party at the local club, I know a few people who are going, Theo is coming up for it aswell. They hold one every year and it’s always a great laugh. If you want to go along to that we will get costumes tomorrow?’

The days passed rather slowly, probably because I couldn’t stop thinking about a certain person. Each day I wondered what she would be doing now, where about she was.

The journey passed quick, we arrived in Dusseldorf and I took her to the venue where I got her a backstage pass and we went through to the dressing room to catch up with the band.
I introduced her to everyone and they all seemed to like her so far, I was relieved. I could tell she was slightly anxious and nervous, who could blame her. After all she was around people she didn’t know, in a country she had never been to before.
I put my arm round her again and pulled her closer to me; giving her a light squeeze on her side to comfort her.
Theo then came over to us grinning away like an idiot. I glared at him to try and not make things awkward.
‘You wanting a drink you two?’
‘Yeah usual. What about you Tina?’
‘Oh just lemonade please.’
‘Do you not drink alcohol?’
‘No I do… I just… em, ok then. Gin and Tonic please.’
She looked a bit unsure and nervous for some reason. I didn’t think much of it at the time.
Theo went and got us both a drink, we had a few then it was time for us to go on stage.
‘Do you want to watch from the side or in the crowd?’
‘Alright if I watch from the side?’
‘Of course.’
I gave her a quick kiss on the lips and rushed on stage.
Tonight’s show was probably one of the best, Theo’s voice was on top form and I felt like I had so much energy I could have played for hours. I glanced over a couple of times to where Tina was stood, she was singing along and watching me intently.
I flashed her a smile as I carried on playing.
After the show was finished I rushed off stage straight to Tina, grabbed her and lifted her off her feet and spun her round. She giggled as I placed her back down on the ground and kissed her.
‘Get a room you two.’
Theo shouted as he walked past us smirking. We laughed and ignored him.
Once we had showered and got changed we all went down the road to a pub and started the party.
It was mainly dance music, Tina dragged me up onto the dance floor, we had both consumed quite a lot of alcohol so our moves were all over the place. We got pretty close a few times, my hands on her hips as she swayed along to the music.
She turned to face me and our hands entwined in one an others and we jumped around, we let it all go and had some fun.
It was getting really late and we were both really drunk. We stumbled out onto the street outside the pub.
‘Is there trains at this time of night?’
‘I don’t think so no. Why don’t you just stay with me in my hotel?’
Our speech was slightly slurred from the alcohol and my head was spinning a little but I could still see and think… Kind of. For a second she looked a bit anxious but then smiled and nodded.

We must have been quite a sight to anyone passing by us, two drunken people stumbling along the road laughing away.
We finally made it into my room, I flicked on the light switch and she sat down on the edge of the bed her head in her hands and groaned.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘The room is spinning. I haven’t drank that much in ages.’
‘Me either to be honest, hold on I’ll get us some water.’ I said cheerily.
I turned around to walk into the bathroom but walked into the wall instead.
‘Who put that wall there?’
I just heard giggling from the bed. I glared at the wall and went into the bathroom and grabbed two glasses of water, spilling a lot on my way back to the bed. When I got there, Tina was lying on the bed her head on the pillow and she was half asleep.
I placed her glass on the bedside table and stroked her hair.
She just mumbled, too tired and drunk to do anything. I decided I was still capable to help her out. I took of her shoes gently and then pulled the blanket up over her and tucked her in.
I took of my shirt and climbed into bed next to her. I lay close to her and she turned on her side to face me and smiled. I placed my hand on her cheek and we kissed gently.
She shuffled even closer to me and I wrapped my arms around her and we snuggled up close and she fell asleep. Lust was overpowering me but I resisted, she was drunk and I didn’t want to take advantage of her. Or at least her to think that I was. I closed my eyes and let sleep take over me aswell.
I had been awake for half an hour, Tina was still curled up in my arms. She looked so peaceful when sleeping and so adorable.
I stroked her cheek softly to try and wake her. I thought it would have been rude to scream in her face, shake or punch her like I did when Theo was being an ass and refused to get up.
She didn’t move much so I planted a kiss on her forehead and then she moved and opened her eyes, she looked at me and for a second a flash of fear flashed across her face but then changed to nervousness.
I started to worry. Had I done something wrong?
‘Are you ok?’
She still looked shocked and she sat up, her breathing was slightly quicker and she looked down as though she was looking at her dress. I was really confused, what had I done?
I sat up next to her and placed my arm around her, she was very tense.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘Did… Did anything happen. Last night? I don’t remember. I remember coming into here with you but I don’t remember anything else.’
‘No nothing happened, you flopped on the bed and I took of your shoes and we curled up and slept. I would never have taken advantage of you like that, we were drunk, it wouldn’t have felt right.’
I rubbed her arm soothingly and I felt her relax a lot more. Did she really think I would have taken advantage of her? As much as I would love to have sex with her, it wouldn’t have been right. People do stupid things they regret when drunk.
But did this mean she didn’t want to go further with me? Did she want to be with me at all?
‘Thankyou.’
I looked at her confused, she looked genuinely grateful for some reason.
‘For what?’
‘For looking after me, for treating me like a human being, taking me back here and not just leaving me to find my own way back.’
Now I was even more confused, I felt a little hurt in a way, did she think I was some sort of monster that was just going to leave her on the street drunk?
‘I would never do anything to hurt you darling, I really care about you Tina.’
I said as I tilted her chin so she was looking at me.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘Nothing. Really.’
She smiled but I could tell she was lying, there was something still not right.
‘Come on tell me please, I’m not a mind reader. I want to know what you’re feeling and thinking. Please.’
I then took her hands in mine and rubbed my thumb over the back of her hand.
‘Well… When I turned 18, I was out partying and having fun with my friends a lot. Living life really, then when I was 19 I met this guy one night. He seemed really nice and we got talking and spent most of the evening dancing with each other and talking. Then at the end of the night, I was so drunk and he was too but not quite as bad as I was. He took me back to his place instead of me going home by bus. We got inside and one thing led to another really… I didn’t really want it, but I was drunk and my mind was going haywire so I just went along really. Didn’t refuse him or try and stop. But it was what happened after that made me really regret that night the most. He just chucked me out of his house once he was finished with me. I had never felt so used before, he took my virginity from me, I was drunk and vulnerable and he just chucked me out like a piece of shit.’
She looked as though she was away to cry, I held her hands tighter. Now I understood why she was so nervous when she woke, she was scared to be used again.
‘That’s horrible. What happened after? Did you get home safely?’
‘Luckily my auntie lived just round the corner so I stayed at hers… But ever since then I haven’t went out much, only now and then. When I did I wouldn’t drink alcohol, I was too scared that a repeat of that night would happen. If a guy came to speak to me I would just not be interested at all.’
‘That’s why you were unsure about drinking last night isn’t it?’
‘Yeah it is. But I guess, I trust you. So that’s why I drank and had a really great time like I used to.’ She smiled.
I felt even more love for Tina, how vulnerable she was, I just wanted to hold her and never let go, protect her from the world.
‘I would never ever do anything to hurt you, and I would never chuck you out on the streets.’
‘I know. I’m sorry I was so paranoid when I woke up. I just’
I placed my finger on her lips.
‘Shh, you don’t need to explain. I understand.’
I tilted her chin up and placed a gentle kiss on her lips. She smiled and pulled me closer for another kiss.
We lay back down on the bed holding each other, she was drawing light circles on my chest sending shivers through me and making the hairs stand up on end.
We lay in bed for a few hours just talking and cuddling. Then I had to take her back to her hotel, her parents would be worried about her.
On the train she looked a bit sad.
‘What’s wrong?’
‘I don’t want to go home tonight. When will I see you again?’
‘Well, I was wondering, only if you want to that is… Whether you would like to come to Manchester next week for the weekend?’
I hoped she would come along, I didn’t want to be apart from her either.

I couldn’t sleep, even though I was up most of the night speaking to my friend and packing. I was too nervous now to even think about sleep.
He was in Germany, right now. Where I’m heading…
I Couldn’t believe it when he text me, I was too scared to text or email him incase he wasn’t interested. But he maybe was, he did want to meet up with me after all. I kept thinking about tomorrow, what would I say? Where would we go? What would I wear? Was it a date? Did he see it that way? Or was my mind just running away with me?
My train of thought was then disturbed as the seatbelt lights flashed on, we were away to land.
We got of the plane and jumped on a train, I then realized we would pass through Dusseldorf. My stomach leapt somersaults and my heart was racing.
Right enough it stopped at a station in Dusseldorf and I seen posters for their show tonight and Saturday. Seeing his picture there made it all hit me hard. Adam Anderson, my favourite musician was wanting to meet up, with me. Me of all people, I couldn’t understand it.
I didn’t think I was anything special, looks wise and in general. I wasn’t that confident at all when it came to guys, which is why I never waited around after their shows to see them. What did he see in me?
I thought back to when we kissed, my lips tingled at the thought.
We arrived in Berlin a few hours later, it was a beautiful place, I found myself falling in love already. Our hotel was nice, luckily I had my own room so I didn’t have to share with my parents.
I sprawled on the bed and ended up dozing of to sleep.
When I awoke it was midnight, I started to regret sleeping that early as I knew I probably wouldn’t get back to sleep now. I leaned to the bedside table and grabbed my phone, I had two texts. The first one was from my friend Lara, just wishing me a good time and to try not to worry to much about tomorrow.
Lara was my best friend, I told her almost everything, she had helped me calm down yesterday when I was going mental about my meeting with Adam.
The next text made my head feel light and dizzy, shivers ran through my body when I seen his name. Adam. Just want to make sure you got to Germany safely, can’t wait to see you tomorrow x

I placed my phone back down on the bedside table and fell back onto the bed with a sigh.
I really didn’t know what to do with myself now, I couldn’t stop thinking about Adam. In 10 hours he would be downstairs waiting for me.
I jumped of the bed and went to my suitcase, I hadn’t even unpacked yet. I took out all my clothes and hung them up neatly in the wardrobe.
What was I going to wear?
I searched through my clothes, taking out some dresses, tops, jeans, tights everything I had.I didn’t even know if it was a date or just a meeting. I didn’t know what to wear.Adam was lucky, he would probably just wear a suit, nice and smart but his usual. He did look amazing in suits. I couldn’t imagine him in anything else. But then, he would look amazing in anything to me.
I decided on shorts and a nice top. I couldn’t go wrong with this outfit, not too casual but not too dressy. I placed it neatly over the back of the chair and lay back down on the bed.
I tossed and turned for the next few hours, I managed to get a little bit more sleep but not a lot. I didn’t care though, It was 9am and I felt wide awake. I also felt very nervous but excited too.
I told my parents I was meeting with a ‘friend’ that I had met online and spoke to for years. I wasn’t sure about telling them that I was meeting Adam, not yet. My mum would no doubt have a heart attack. Or be very jealous.
I showered and got dressed before heading downstairs for breakfast. I was so nervous I don’t know how I managed to eat anything.
I went back up to my room to get my bag and wait a few minutes. It was now 11am, it was time to go and meet him. I stopped as I placed my hand on the handle. I couldn’t go, I would end up making a fool of myself.
My breathing quickened as I started to panic slightly. What was wrong with me? I had to get a grip of myself. I took a deep breath and then went downstairs.
I stepped into the reception area and there he was. Seeing him took my breath away, he looked like he had just stepped out of a model magazine, he was as stunning as ever.
He was looking down but glanced up as he seen me come down the stairs, he smiled and glided over to me open arms.
He took me in a warm embrace, I instantly felt more at ease. His hug was tight and comforting.
‘Hey Tina, I’ve missed you. How you doing?’
He said as he looked down at me, it was then I realized just how tall he was. Or maybe I was just rather small, or a bit of both.
‘I’ve missed you too. I’m good, and you?’
‘I’m good too. You look beautiful.’
My cheeks flushed red and I smiled up at him.
‘Thankyou.’
‘Come on, let’s go.’
He then took my hand out of the blue again, like the last time I met him. His hands were big and gentle.
I went along with him out of the hotel and down the road. In a way it scared me how willing I was to go with him, he may be my favorite musician but I still didn’t really know him. Apart from what I had seen and heard in interviews… Out of the two of them, he was the more private one. I had always found him more mysterious. Which is what seemed to draw me to him more than anyone else.
‘Where are we going?’
He looked at me and grinned.
‘Wait and see.’
He had a mischievous look about him. I smiled and carried on walking.
‘How did the gig go last night?’
‘Really good, it usually always is in Germany. Like our second home.’
‘I can see why, it’s a beautiful place.’
‘The scenery has got a lot better since you arrived.’
He said smirking and flicked his eyebrows up. I looked down shyly unsure on what to say. I wasn’t really used to compliments, considering I never really went out with guys an awful lot.
We then arrived down by the river, it was a beautiful place.
‘I thought we could take a stroll along the riverside, have a chat to get to know each other?’
‘Yeah that would be nice, it’s beautiful down here.’
Still with out hands connected we slowly took a walk down the riverside.
‘So tell me about yourself. Since you probably know a lot about me.’
‘What makes you think that?’
‘Well from interviews i’m guessing? Or do you not really watch them?’
‘No I do, some. But you tend to keep yourself to yourself, so you’re still a mystery to me.’
He looked at me and smirked, I grinned back at him and he laughed.
‘Well, you tell me a bit about yourself first, then we will speak about me.’
‘Um, what would you like to know?’
Like your age, what you do for a living. Your favorite color, hobbies, interests. Weakness. Anything really.’
‘Do you really think I’m going to tell you my weakness?
‘Worth a shot.’ He said as we both laughed.
‘I’m 22. My favorite color I guess would be purple. I work in a music store, tuning instruments and helping customers find what they are looking for.’
‘Wow, really? Do you play any instruments?’
‘I can sort of play the piano, not well but enough. I can’t play guitar though I would love to. The drums I can play.’
‘Ah so you’re a drummer then?’
‘I wouldn’t call myself a drummer really, I just play them as a hobby I guess.’
‘I could teach you guitar sometime if you’d like?’
‘Really? That would be brilliant.’
I got a bit over excited at the fact he would teach me guitar, he was brilliant at it, so learning from the master would be amazing. Also it meant he wanted to spend more time with me… Well at least I hoped it did.
We must have walked for at least an hour just talking about our lives. He told me about some of his life before he met Theo and started making music. He told me some tour stories aswell which made me laugh.
He was rather flirty and very seducing. I of course fell completely for him, he really was irresistible.
We ended up going to a shop and bought some sandwiches and crisps to eat. He then took me over to the other side of the river and we sat down on the grass and tucked in to the food.
We were sitting pretty close to each other; our arms touching. Then out of no where there was a cold wind starting to pick up. I shivered, I didn’t think on taking a jacket as it was so warm earlier.
Adam noticed and he put his arm around me and pulled me close to him. I smiled and snuggled up next to him, resting my head onto his chest. He rubbed my arm to keep me from getting cold, I certainly wasn’t cold anymore. Goosebumps appeared where he touched.
‘I was wondering, if on Saturday you would like to come over to Dusseldorf for the gig? Then to the after party?’
‘I… I’d love to, but isn’t it sold out? I’m too late to get a ticket.’
‘Who says anything about you buying a ticket?’
He winked at me, my stomach churned at the thought on spending another day with him. Also seeing him perform again would be incredible.
‘I’ll come collect you around 4 and take you over there.’
‘Ok, thankyou.’
‘No need to thank me, I’d love to have you there.’
He said as he tilted my chin up with his finger so I was looking right into his eyes. He looked deep into mine and I got lost in his deep blue eyes. He ran his thumb over my bottom lip causing it to quiver a little.
He then leaned towards me more and our lips connected, it felt even more incredible than the first time. He hardened the kiss a bit and his hand stroked down my back causing me to tremble. I felt him smirk into the kiss.
I ended up lying on the grass on my back with Adam leaning over me, our lips still connected. His hand ran down my side and he slipped his hand underneath my top and gently ran his fingers up and down my side sending electricity straight through me.
When we eventually broke the kiss he sat up a little, but still so he was towering over me. He smiled and stroked my cheek.
‘Tina? Is that you?’
Adam and myself both jumped when we heard a voice call for me. I shot up quickly and looked behind me, to my horror it was my mother. For a split second I was relieved that my dad wasn’t there too.
‘Mum! What are you doing here?’
‘I was out walking, your dads having a few beers in the pub… Who. Oh my.’
She spoke as she came over to us, then she realized who it was that I was with. I was just glad that he wasn’t actually on top of me.
‘Em. Mum, this is Adam.’
‘Oh I know Tina. Pleasure to meet you Adam.’
Adam looked a bit shocked, but he smiled his charming smile and greeted her. Luckily for me she didn’t stay, she said she would leave us to it and see me back at the hotel for dinner.
I cringed as she walked away and hid my head in my hands. Adam laughed and put his arm round me and pulled me close to him again and placed his head on mine.
‘You shouldn’t be embarrassed, she seemed pretty relaxed about things.’
‘I know… But. Well, she is a big fan of you guys basically. I just know she will be quizzing me when I get back.’
‘Aww don’t worry about it, I’m sure she will be fine.’
‘I hope so. I can’t believe that out of all the people here to see us it had to be my mum.’
I look up at Adam and he looks at me, we then both started laughing at how awkward that had just been.
He stroked my hair soothingly which made me melt.
‘I better take you back so you’re not late for dinner, I don’t want her coming after me for my head or something.’
He took my hand and led me back to the hotel, it was an hour away so we had more time to talk. I really really liked him, I just hoped he liked me too. I think he did, I just hoped I was right.
‘So see you Saturday?’
‘Definitely.’
‘It’s a date.’ He winked and placed one last kiss on my lips and then we said goodbye and I went inside the hotel.
It’s a date. I Kept hearing those words over and over as I walked upstairs to my room.

It had been 3 weeks and I hadn’t heard from her, I was desperate to call her but I didn’t want to seem pushy. I really liked her, even just the few hours we spent together, there was just something drawing me to her. I leaned back in my chair, I was sat out on the balcony of the hotel with my laptop on my knee and a gin and tonic in my hand.
We were in Germany for the week, for a change we actually only had 2 gigs to do. One tomorrow night and the other on Saturday, which meant we had 3 days in between of doing nothing but relaxing and sight seeing.
I then decided to try find if she had twitter, see if there was any sign of her even liking me? I knew she was a fan, she seemed shocked when she turned around to see me when I went after her to return her purse… But maybe she wasn’t interested in me, maybe Theo was the one she liked. I wouldn’t be surprised.
I had her email address, I couldn’t pluck up the guts to email her though, I was scared of rejection, which is why I had to see if there was a chance with her. I mean, she didn’t pull away when I kissed her, so that must mean something?
I typed her address into twitter and up popped her profile, I couldn’t believe my luck. She didn’t tweet a lot by the looks of things. But the newest one caught my eye, my stomach started swirling with excitement, I couldn’t believe it. It said she was coming to Germany… Tomorrow! With her family for a weeks holiday.
I had to see her, I just had to. If I did meet her again I would be sure to know if she was interested too or not. The fact she was coming to Germany where I was… Was it fate? Nah, I don’t believe in that kind of stuff… Or do I?
I then didn’t waste any time, I wrote out a text. Hi there Tina, how are you? I’m sorry I haven’t gotten in touch earlier, I’ve been pretty busy. We should meet up when you come to Germany, I’m here right now, for the week. Adam x
I’m away to press send, but I then realize that she would probably freak out that I know she’s coming to Germany, I don’t want to look like some sort of stalker or perv. Hi there Tina, how are you? I’m sorry I haven’t gotten in touch earlier, I’ve been pretty busy. Adam x
I decided to leave it at that and see what happens, try and get the conversation flowing first.
I didn’t have to wait long before she replied. Hey Adam! I’m good thanks how are you? It’s fine, I’ve been pretty busy too :) How’s touring going? Where about are you now? x
I let out a sigh of relief, the way she was asking where I was, gave me hope that she was interested. I’m fine thankyou. It’s going pretty good, in Germany this week, luckily only have two gigs to do so have a few days in between of relaxing! What are you up to?
I pressed send, then I waited… and waited… and waited. It was about ten minutes later before my phone buzzed again. I wasn’t sure if the time she took to reply was a good thing or not.
Germany, really? I’m going there tomorrow for the week with my family… Where about are you playing?
This was good, I hoped she was hoping to come along to the show now. I felt like a kid at Christmas, excited and waiting to see what Santa would bring, only I was waiting to see what Tina would say.
We’re playing in Dusseldorf. Where are you staying?
This reply was quick, unlike the last one. I’m staying in Berlin, is that near Dusseldorf? (I have no geography skills at all)
I laughed, unfortunately it wasn’t near it… But I would easily go over and see her one of the days… Or maybe two.
lol, don’t worry mine isn’t the greatest either. Unfortunately it’s about 5 hours away. But if you like we could still meet up? I’m free Wednesday,Thursday and Friday. If you’d like to that is?
Again this time she takes a little while to reply, but maybe she is busy packing, since she is leaving tomorrow.

A big smile creeps across my face, I’m going to see her again, on Wednesday. It really was perfect. I then realized I was still on her twitter page on my laptop, I was away to close it but it said ‘1 new tweet’ I was intrigued so I opened it. It melted my heart when I seen what is said.
Really looking forward to my Germany trip now, it will be extra special.
My smile then grew even bigger, but I jumped as my phone rang. Theo’s name flashed on the screen, I was a little disappointed as for some strange reason I thought it might have been Tina.
‘Hi mate, what’s up?’
‘Hi, just wondering if you want to go grab a few drinks at the bar and eye up some girls?’
‘Yeah sure, though I will pass on the eyeing up girls part.’
‘Oh, really? Mr Anderson passing on a chance to check out some fit girls? Are you ill or something?’
‘Nope, but I have already eyed up someone.’
‘Oh really? Spill the beans then?’
‘Yep really, I will tell you about her at the bar. Will be down in five.’
‘Alright see you there mate.’
I get downstairs and walk into the bar, Theo is standing there waiting and grinning away. I go and stand next to him and order a drink.
‘What?’
‘Come on then, tell me. Who’s this girl then?’
‘Remember Tina?’
‘Hmm… Not really no?’
‘In London, I walked her to the train station, she joined us for an hour or so for drinks?’
‘Oh yeah her! She was hot.’
I glared at Theo and shook my head smiling.
‘Well, she’s coming to Germany tomorrow for the week, so I’m going to meet up with her on Wednesday.’
‘Really? I thought you liked her, the way you went out of your way to make her feel comfortable, not like you. I should have known you wouldn’t let her go easy.’
‘You know me too well.’
‘You really like her don’t you?’
‘What do you mean?’
‘Well, I haven’t seen you constantly grinning for this long before.’
‘Shut it you. I dunno, I mean I have only met her once, but I felt like we connected? There’s something drawing me to her. Whether she’s interested in me or not is the question.’
‘I’m sure if you work your Anderson charm you will have her in your bed within minutes.’
‘Theo!’ I snarled at him.
This was typical Theo, always thinking I was just after one thing… I mean sometimes yeah the odd fling, but I did have a heart.
‘What?’
‘It’s not like that with her… I mean, yeah I would obviously love to as she is very beautiful… But I feel different about her. More emotionally attached. Oh I don’t know, it’s stupid, I’ve only known her for two hours.’
‘I know what you mean, just wait and see what happens on Wednesday. You never know.’
‘Yeah. You never know…’ I said the last part quietly and took another sip of my drink.
‘So do you know where you’re going to take her yet?’
His question hit me hard, I hadn’t even thought about that.
‘Umm. No, I haven’t even thought about that to be honest.’
‘Also what are you going to wear?’
‘Theo what the hell is this? Theo Hutchcraft’s guide to dating?’
‘I’m only asking, you’re my mate I want to make sure you hit it of right, on your first date.’
He said in defense. I wasn’t even sure if this was a date, or just generally meeting up.
‘Oh, and you’re the master of dates are you? And wait a minute, this isn’t my first date.’
I punched him in the arm and scowled at him. He just laughed again and patted my shoulder.
‘I’m only kidding, but it has been a while since you’ve really wanted to impress a girl, am I right or am I right?’
‘You’re right…’ I grumbled.
‘Thought so.’
‘I’m just going to be myself and see what happens, there’s no point on being someone I’m not.’
‘Exactly, you will be fine champ.’
I hoped I would be, I had never felt nervous about meeting a girl before, I was normally so confident. Tina had really gotten under my skin.
I just hoped on Wednesday my confidence would return again. I was sure it would, I was still getting over the shock that I was going to see her again. Everything would be fine on Wednesday. I just had that feeling.
